Best (and Super EASY) Meatloaf Ever

Meatloaf, a classic and easy dinner and is often requested by my fiance. I personally used to hate making it, because I would always find it was so dry and crumbly and I always felt like serving dinner was a Pinterest fail in the making.

I found a game changer months ago that now makes meatloaf delicious and anything but dry. Classic crackers and egg combo will never be used in my kitchen ever again.

I'm going to share the game changer with you.

Recipe:

4 slices of bread (whole wheat or brown it doesn't matter)
1/2 cup milk (I use 2% because that's what we drink in our house)
2 ilbs of extra lean ground beef (I use extra lean so it doesn't get greasy - if you use regular you may have to drain your meatloaf before you serve it as it will have a  fat bath - still do-able but one extra step)
1 egg (optional)
salt & pepper to taste
crushed garlic (optional)
onions/ onion powder (optional)
favorite BBQ sauce

Instructions:
1) Rip up the bread.
2. Soak the bread in the milk. I put it in a food processor and add the milk to the ripped up bread.

3. Mix the bread/milk concoction on blend until it creates a liquid. I blend halfway and add one egg for extra sticking power.  It should be on the thicker side, do not add more milk or your mixture will not be ideal when you add the ground beef.

4. Mix thawed ground beef in with the mixture and mix with freshly washed hands. I didn't snap any photos of this step because my hands were covered in meatloaf mixture. Add your salt, pepper and any other personal flavour preferences. I add onion powder because we like the flavour but my hubby-to-be doesn't actually like onions in his meatloaf (weird right). I also add some garlic to my meatloaf, for extra flavour but it isn't necessary.
5. Into a greased (I sprayed mine with PAM) bread pan, pour your meatloaf mixture into the pan. Bake at 400 for 45-60 minutes.
6 . In the last 15 minutes I add a bit of my favorite BBQ sauce on top. My personal favorite is the Bulls-Eye brand Guinness BBQ Sauce.
7. Enjoy your creation and have your family or guests be amazed with how delicious your amazing meatloaf is.

I serve this classic with peas and garlic whipped mashed potatoes. (Boil your potatoes with garlic in the water to amp up the deliciousness)

ENJOY!
